It was great experience to get training from Ravindra sir. He elaborates each and every topic in very simple manner so that we can understand the concept, as I am fresher in technical environment. When I am going to talk about Ravindra Pillay Sir, I will fall short of words.  I remember the day when I first met Pillay Sir and saw him for the first time, I felt we have met the right person. On the first day when we were talking to Sir, we did not know 3 hours had gone. The way he was talking and teaching is really different. In My opinion no one can teach CNC programming like this Sir. Sir shared his life experience with us, it’s very awesome.

On the 5th August our class finished but I want to go to the class everyday just to meet Sir everyday. Really there is no one like the sir in this world. I was very lucky that i was the student of Pillay sir. I never forget sir in my whole life.

When I came first time for enquiry for training of CNC machine I was scared because I was told that Pillay sir is very strict.

The first day when I came to class, I was very nervous & I were having many questions in my mind whether I will able to learn this.

On very first day Pillay sir gave me all the answers to my questions & changed my mindset of living & helped me to boost my confidence. Sir used to tell stories so that I could learn very properly.

मी अणि माझा मित्र तन्मय आम्हाला CNC Programming शिकायची होती.

कारण  ती  मशीन ज्या अचूक पानाने काम करते ना त्याची कुतूहल सतत आम्हाला असायची. रविन्द्र     पिल्ले सरांशी आमचा परिचय कॉलेज च्या गेस्ट लेक्चर मध्ये झाला. त्यावेळेस सर CNC, VMC च महत्व इंडस्ट्रीज मध्ये किती आहे या विषया वर सरांनी खूप माहिती दिली, सरांना आलेले इंडस्ट्री मधले अनुभव सांगितले. मग आम्ही सरांशी संपर्क केला.

सरांनी आम्हाला वैयक्तिक CNC TECH मध्ये भेटायला बोलवलं. तेव्हा आम्हाला कळाल की सर स्वतः CNC ,VMC  programming शिकवतात. तर module 2 चा कोर्स चालू केला. सरांना तात्विक अणि व्यावहारिक ज्ञान खूप आहे. सर ज्या प्रकारे शिकवतात तसं आज पर्यन्त मला कोणीही शिकवलेल नाही. मोठ्यातला मोठा कन्सेप्ट सोप्या साध्या उदाहरणातून व्यक्त करून दाखवतात.

अणि आम्ही फक्त CNC, VMC नाही तर करियर मध्ये तुम्ही पुढे इंडस्ट्रीत कशे स्टँड कराल या बदल खूप माहिती मिळाली. आणि ज्ञान कमवायच खर महत्व मला सरांन कडे गेल्यावर कळालं. सरांचा अनुभव खूप काही शिकवतो . मला कुठे चुका करायच्या अणि कुठे नाही करायच्या खूप काही, इंडस्ट्री मध्ये असताना कॉन्फिडन्स कसा असावा एका Engineer चा. अश्या भरपूर काही गोष्टी आहेत ज्या शिकायला मिळाल्यात.

Every year I keep challenging resolution’s,

2018 was to run a full marathon,

2019 was to get a degree with no backs,

The same way in 2020 it was to learn the big daddy CNC machines…

And here I am having completed the resolution in first month of 2020 itself and gonna continue in the same field till my last breath.

I called Mr.Ravindra Pillay(SIR) for enquiry.

And we had a strong talk, was bit scared to approach him but yes I was 100% sure that he`s the one. The class used to be of 6 hours. We were vegetables in the cooker and he was the potentiometer of gas. No professor will give such attention to their students. In these 3 weeks we became capable of programming and operating the CNC MACHINES. And explaining the theoretical part with such examples was so helpful (ex-students will understand). Thank you for everything Sir.

मि, Sanket Pilvilkar, Dip. in Mech. from SPS Chiplun. माझं ४ वर्षा च manufacturing experience असुन सुद्धा CNC VMC ची Programing वैगरे काहिच माहित नव्हते.

एका मित्रांनी मला CNC TECH आणी Ravindra Pillay सरांच उल्लेख केला होता.

मी Dec2021 ला class join झालो

‘जिथं ज्ञानाची कमी तिथं गुरुंची महती जाणावी’ त्याप्रमाणं आपण दिलेल्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली, ज्या गोष्टींचं ज्ञान अवगत न्हवतं अशा बऱ्याचशा गोष्टी माहीत झाल्यामुळे माझ्यात असणारा आत्मविश्वास उंचावला गेलाय त्यामुळं ज्या क्षेत्रात मी इतके दिवस नोकरी (कामधंदा) करत होतो त्याची इतत्म्भूत माहितीच मिळाली न्हवती पण त्याची कमतरता मात्र तुम्ही पुरेपूर भरुन काढलीत त्याबद्दल आपले मनःपूर्वक आभार.

असं सहजासहजी कोण कुणाला मार्गदर्शन करत नसतं पण तुम्ही स्वतःहून बोलावून ज्या काही टीप दिल्यात त्यामुळं माझ्यात झालेला बदल अगदी प्रशंसनीय आहे. त्याचं सर्वस्वी क्रेडीट तुम्हालाच जातं. परिस्थितीनुरूप अनुभवलेल्या सभोवतालच्या वास्तविकतेवरुन आपल्या शिष्याच्या आयुष्यात कशारीतीने ज्ञानाची भर पडेल ह्या सर्व गोष्टींची पारख गुरुजन ठेवत असतात त्याप्रमाणं आपणही माझ्यावर थोडा प्रकाश टाकून प्रेरणा दिलीत. येणाऱ्या पुढील काळात जेंव्हा कधी तुमचं मार्गदर्शन हवं असेल तेंव्हा नक्की, तुमची कृपादृष्टी माझ्यावर सदैव राहील, असा आशावाद ठेवून आपणास साष्टांग दंडवत प्रणाम करतो.

सर तुम्ही एक महान शिक्षक आहात तुमची शिकवण्याची पद्धत ही समोरच्या विद्यार्थ्यांच्या आकलन शक्तीवर अवलंबून आहे तुम्ही स्वताहून कोणताही रेडिमेट प्रोग्रॅम न लिहिता विद्यार्थ्यांना स्वतःहून प्रोग्रॅम लिहायला सांगता ते तुम्ही तुमचे लॉजिक वापरून विद्यार्थ्यांना सांगता त्याचा फायदा असा होतो की विद्यार्थी आपल्आपल् लॉजीक लावून प्रोग्रॅम बनवतात आणि हा प्रोग्रॅम बनवत असताना प्रत्येक   विद्यार्थ्याकडून काही ना काही  चुका होत असतात या झालेल्या चुका ग्रुपमध्ये चर्चा करून सोडवल्या जातात आणि विद्यार्थ्यांना  आलेल्या शंकेचे स्पष्टीकरण योग्य रीतीने दिले जाते.शाळेत असताना कॉलेजमध्ये असताना लेक्चर ला बसले खूप बोर होत  असायचे पण तुमच्या क्लास मध्ये सात  सात तास बसून पण कंटाळा अजिबात येत नसायचा कारण तुम्ही क्लासमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांसोबत पूर्णपणे एकजीव झालेला असता तुम्ही चालू असलेला विषय सगळ्या विद्यार्थ्यांना पूर्णपणे समजल्याशिवाय तुम्ही पुढल्या विषयाला हात घालत  नाही आणि हीएक खरच खूप चांगली अशी गोष्ट आहे जी आजकालच्या शिक्षकांमध्ये बघायला भेटत नाही.

तुमच्या संस्थेमध्ये प्रवेश घ्यायच्या आधी आणि तुमच्या संस्थेत प्रवेश घेऊन शिक्षण झाल्यानंतर माझ्यात अतुलनीय असा बदल झालेला आहे एक वेगळाच असा आत्मविश्वास निर्माण झाला आहे

खरंच तुम्ही खूप महान असे शिक्षक आहात.

My feedback on my training on CNC Technology at CNC TECH with Ravindra Pillay Sir.

I am a final year student of DYPSOE.

I attended Mr Ravindra Pillay’s webinar on “Importance of CNC Technology in the Industry”. Soon after that I and Ram Barde decided to contact sir, and the very next day morning went at his place and wanted to join his 3-week full day course. After the discussion about date of joining I just asked Sir that “Will I learn some G codes and M codes so that it would be easier to learn further?” Sir calmly replied “No, I shape my students just like a sculptor shapes the sculpture” and make the engineers useful to the manufacturing Industry. That’s where I got impressed!!

We joined the 4 Oct ‘21 batch.

And the way he taught us Codes was magical, I would not forget it ever! We used to sit for more than 6 hours at a stretch, and don’t remember a second when I felt bored or wanted to go home. Throughout the course, Sir makes a lot of jokes while teaching but every joke has a meaning behind it, that helps you remember that specific concept associated with that joke so then it becomes impossible to forget it. Initially when Sir promised to make us programmer in just 2 days, I always wondered then what else is there more to learn beyond G and M codes. I never imagined that the subject could be so deep and being an engineer how much we were ignorant about the manufacturing processes. It was mind-boggling experience. Today I realize and really wonder, how can any engineer without all this deep knowledge SURVIVE in the industry?

The most surprising and unbelievable part is that even before the course could be finished, Sir sent us all 4 students for interviews and there!! We all are already placed in an industry where we can learn hands on.

Sir, does not teach, he trains you and more than that, he guides you in all aspects of life!

Today we are able to read drawings, write complex CNC and VMC Programs so easily. Though it is the beginning, we are sure we will go far.

As our training is about to end, it just feels like that it should never ever end… (there is no educational criteria to learn CNC here, but the basic criteria is honesty to learn and ability to work hard)

To enjoy and have fun during learning, then CNC TECH is the place and Ravindra Sir is the one. He has really sculpted our career even before we could pass our degree.

I only feel sad for other engineers who are missing all this. Wish they too gain all the knowledge available here in abundance and the decades of Sir’s experience.

Your ability to maintain a balance between imparting knowledge and creating a conducive learning environment was commendable. In addition to teaching us the correct methods, you also focused on common mistakes that programmers often make and provided us with valuable insights on how to avoid them. Moreover, your storytelling technique played a crucial role in making the case studies memorable and relatable. As decided by my department (AUTOMATION) that we need to be trained in CNC/VMC, I along with my two colleagues came to CNC TECH PUNE on 21 May 2023. It was a 2 weeks program. Earlier I thought why to go so far when there were several other options available at Jamshedpur itself, who claim to teach CNC. I had no idea at all what I was about to discover.

On the first day of my class, at Ramwadi, I was all blank, and so was my evaluation sheet as I had only seen VMC machine. Never even touched it.

I was very curious, regarding me able to cope  up with the course . But, Thanks to our mentor Mr RAVINDRA PILLAY sir, as the course moved ahead, It was so fluent and so smooth. I did not face any problem to understand anything.

After only the second day I was so confident that I thought I would ask my department to get a turning centre ordered as a substitute to the old traditional lathe.

The course had brought a tremendous change both psychologically and mentally.

A few days before the course completion, a friend of mine said, ” Couldn’t you people

find a teacher a little nearer to Jamshedpur”.

I thought not of replying than I told him that, this man not only teaches you CNC but has the potential of shaking you from inside. No assistants, no use of projectors nothing. But the impact he creates can only be experienced. He is like a one-man army.

I am also very much thankful to all those who had suggested CNC TECH PUNE above other options we were looking.

I am deeply thankful to Mr. RAVINDRA PILLAY sir for whatever knowledge I gained from him and I would also ensure that all the knowledge I gained from him would help me achieve something good in my coming future in a way,
